All Leisure group PLC (AIM:ALLG) can confirm that cruises operated by all four of its destination-led brands were affected by the travel disruption that resulted from the recent closure of much of Northern Europe's airspace. -

At its Annual General Meeting held today in London at 10:00am, Roger Allard, Executive Chairman of destination-led niche cruise operator, All Leisure group PLC (AIM:ALLG), gave the following update:

Discover Egypt
The majority of the division's customers take a packaged holiday to Egypt that include seven-night Nile cruises between Luxor and Aswan, flights, accommodation and a number of excursions. The balance of customers use the division to arrange bespoke Egyptian holidays.
The Discover Egypt's various cruises, hotels and excursions are all sourced from Viking Travel, which is a family run Egyptian business. Viking Travel manage and own or charter the boats used for the cruises and organise staff, hotels and guides for the excursions.
The majority of Discover Egypt's business is direct from the public, mostly though newspaper advertising and repeat customers. The business also produces brochures and uses a small number of agents.
